It is explicit licensing for any use intended to generate revenue such as marketing, product packaging, advertising, business social media, etc. Commercial licensing can include royalties or be royalty-free.
Allows commercial use, but generally requires attribution to the creator.
Permits use in commercial projects without paying per number of items sold. Includes an up front purchase of licensing.
Typically used with employees. It is a clause in the hiring contract that states all work created by that employee is owned by the employer.
